EAS Virtual Student Symposium (VSS) will be held on May 20th
Call for Papers & Registration now open!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EAS-VSS is an annual student-centered virtual symposium designed specifically for student needs. We offer the ability to present your cutting edge research to an audience of peers and experts over a convenient virtual format, avoiding the need of travel funds to still present your research, network, and add a line to your resume. In addition to presentation experience, the EAS-VSS also offers a networking hour to chat either alone or in breakout rooms with an array of analytical chemistry professionals spanning industry and academia. The best part about the EAS-VSS? It’s free to present, it’s free to attend, and it allows you to simultaneously present your research virtually AND submit a poster abstract to EAS 2024 (optional).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s get into some of the logistics:<\/em>
Who can present? <\/strong>Students – both undergraduate and graduate
What is the presentation format?<\/strong> Slides or a poster, accompanied by an oral presentation
How long are presentations?<\/strong> 10-15 minutes plus 5-10 minutes for Q&A (20-minute time slots)
When is the EAS-VSS?<\/strong> May 20th, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm EDT (end time tentative)
When are abstracts due?<\/strong> May 10, 11:59:59 pm
Who can register?<\/strong> Anyone! This includes: your peers, your PI, your family, etc.
