E-Poster Presentation Guidelines for the
Eastern Analytical Symposium
The following Guidelines have been prepared based upon the experiences of prior EAS meetings. Please pay close attention to the details below to ensure a successful presentation of your work, and a more enjoyable experience for you and your audience.
EAS will be using Electronic Posters again this year! Accepted posters will be submitted to poster@eas.org prior to the symposium as either a Power-point slide deck or high resolution Image; deadline to submit is November 1, 2022.
Click here for a Powerpoint template. You can use this template as a starting point for your presentation. This is the best option to maximize the usefulness of the 55″ displays. On the day of your E-poster presentation, please check-in with the Poster Session Coordinator by 10:00am in the e-Poster Area on the Bridge. Please note: there will be NO poster boards to display paper posters.
Here are a few key things to remember.
- Posters will be displayed on 55” 4K TV displays
- Presentations will be limited to a single slide
- No animations, sounds, or special features will be allowed
- The optimal Poster size in PowerPoint is 48” wide by 27” tall
- All posters will be converted to high-resolution JPEG format
- Posters must be submitted by Nov. 8

Click here for Registration details and housing information. All contributed speakers must register for EAS by October 15th to confirm your presentation in the Technical Program. Speakers giving an oral presentation must register as a Full Conferee in order to present. Poster presenters can register as Exposition/Networking/Poster Only Attendee or Full Conferee, Full-Time Student Conferee (or Exhibit Staff). Please note the Exposition-Only Attendee registration does not give you access to the oral presentations. Full-time students can register as “Full-Time Student Conferee” – but you must show your student ID at the registration desk. Contributed speakers must pay for their travel and registration expenses.
If you or a co-author are unable to participate, please inform Bernadette Taylor at askEAS@EAS.org as soon as possible.
