Congratulations to Yeager – EAS’s 2025 Mascot! Thank you to all who participated in our competition.

Yeager got his first taste of EAS when his sister Sophia was pet mascot in 2023 and he has been jealous of her fame ever since! Yeager greatly believes in the principles of analytical chemistry and wishes his parents would respect them more closely. Some examples include reproducibility in meal delivery, more replicates in tennis balls available to him, and more precise petting by all the humans, especially behind his ears and on his forehead. Additional accuracy in the number of required treats per day also needs improvement (n = 1 million, or more). Yeager can’t wait to share his love of analytical science with all the EAS 2025 attendees! In Yeager’s spare time he enjoys long boat rides (of which he prefers to be captain), hiking, snuggles and of course, eating lots of treats!
