Virtual Poster Presenter Guidelines

The following Guidelines have been prepared for our virtual meeting. Please pay close attention to the details below to ensure a successful presentation of your work, and a more enjoyable experience for you and your audience.

EAS poster sessions will be virtual.   Accepted posters will be submitted prior to the symposium as either a single Power-point slide or high resolution jpeg image; there will be no audio component. The posters will be available on-demand for the duration of the virtual meeting as well as for a limited time after the meeting dates. Viewers are able to contact the authors via a chat feature on the virtual platform both during and after the meeting.

Here are a few key things to remember.

  • Posters will be available on-demand via the virtual meeting portal.
  • Presentations will be limited to a single slide or image
  • No animations, sounds, or special features will be allowed
  • The optimal Poster size in PowerPoint is 16 inches wide x 9 inches high but not to exceed 44 inches wide by 21 inches high.
  • All posters will be converted to high-resolution PDF or JPEG format; dimensions 425px (height) x 300px (wide); file size not to exceed 5 MB
  • Email your file to poster@eas.org by November 1st; be sure to include your abstract submission number and full name in the title of the file, such as 1234_Jason Shen

All contributed speakers and poster presenters must register for EAS by October 15th to confirm your presentation in the Technical Program. There will not be a set time for authors to present their posters; rather the posters are available on-demand starting Nov. 16 until a few weeks at the conclusion of the meeting.
